Uinta Summer

I would like to thank Susan Fiegel for her great photography. I based this painting off a photo that she took.

There are times and places in our lives that could be considered paradise. Being with my Dad at Mirror Lake, in the Uinta mountains, during the summer always was paradise to me. We would escape from our crazy lives, from the pollution and hassle of the city, and come to where the water and air are pure, and where the fish were always biting.

This is a family place for multiple generations.

I have tried to capture the beauty and excitement of a bright summers day at 10,000 feet.

You did a great job on this, Jared! Mirror Lake is one of the most picturesque places on earth.
