In recent decades, many communities have tried to solve the problem of empty downtowns, caused by shopping malls, and businesses moving to the outskirts of the city. Now small local businesses are moving into these open spaces. Two common businesses are galleries, and antique shops.
This is a painting of a flea market store in downtown Asheboro. They always have the most interesting things outside on the sidewalks, as well as vintage finds within.
I enjoyed the colors and shapes peaking through the reflections in the glass, as well as all the crazy wire stuff they had outside.
