One of the things I love about spring and summer is the powerful thunderstorms.  They are so massive and sublime. In this pastoral scene I have chosen to portray these cows grazing just as a storm is about to hit.

I love neighborhoods. It is fun to see the architecture of homes, and what people choose to do with their landscaping.  There is a calm familiarity of the homes and the trees. This painting was about the light on the homes, their different shapes, and the way the trees affect the light and shadow.
