Bond Street

I love light, especially early morning and late evening light.  I think my favorite is early morning because everything is so peaceful and beautiful.  There are strong lights and shadows, but the world is so fresh and clean because it has just woken up.  I love going for walks before the world is up.  It gives me time to think, to appreciate the world around me and what a beautiful place God created.

Bond Street is one of my favorite spots in Macon.  It is a curving street that goes past some beautiful old houses, and around a corner to a beautiful view overlooking downtown Macon.  I tried to capture the charm, and the way the light lit up the insides of the columns.

I love the light coming from the porch and through the trees. This is beautiful, Jared!

The light from the porch is one of my favorite parts of the painting.
