Across The James
Lynchburg, VA was my first home with my wife. We lived there for a few years, and really enjoyed it. The city is very historic, on the bank of the James River, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
One of my favorite views of the city is driving in from the north. As you come down the hill to the river, the city is spread out before you.

Glad to see you are painting again! And how nice to have a memory of your first home together.
I really like Lynchburg. I’m kind of sad you’ve left there. The picture is great with geometric and organic shapes. You have great atmospheric perspective.
Wow, Jared! This is really good- true to life and “artistically enhanced” at the same time. I like it a lot!
Nice painting! Lynchburg looks like a place I’d like to visit.
