Many artists have specific places or things they paint over and over. Monet had his haystacks, cathedrals, and waterlillies, Cezanne had his mountain, and I have the view to the west of my house. Here are two examples I have painted of it. The first is a small 8 x 10 of an early morning where it had just snowed. Below is a summer evening, with light filtering through the trees.
